Mokuhanga Magic is invited by Bokrijk Vakmanschap & Erfgoed to take part in the Ambacht in Beeld Festival in Brussels this May.
On Saturday 9 & Sunday 10 May 2026 at the beautiful Gare Maritime, Tour & Taxis, we will be hosting two introduction workshops where you can get a taste of Japanese woodblock printing — no experience needed.
The workshops
De weg van het mes — The way of the knife
Learn the secret of Japanese woodblock carving. After a short introduction you go straight to work with traditional cutting tools on a practice plate — which you take home afterwards.
Times: 11:00 · 13:30 · 16:00 (both days)

De magie van kleur — The magic of colour
