Mokuhanga Magic – Verzot op Yakusha-e

Van 11 tot 26 juli 2026 stelt Mokuhanga Magic! tentoon in de Okando van de Japanse Tuin in Hasselt. Uit de collectie van Vladimir worden 31 prenten van o.a. Toyokuni, Kunisada, Kunichika en Kogyo getoond rond het thema theater, aangevuld met een inzichtelijke voorstelling van hoe een Japanse prent wordt gemaakt en wat deze zo uniek maakt.

De expo wordt aangevuld met demonstraties op 11, 12 en 19 juli (13u30 - 15u30) en een 3-daagse A-Z workshop op 24, 25 en 26 juli.

Mokuhanga Magic – Crazy about Yakusha-e

From July 11 to 26, 2026, Mokuhanga Magic! exhibits at the Okando in the Japanese Garden of Hasselt. From Vladimir’s collection, 31 prints by artists including Toyokuni, Kunisada, Kunichika and Kogyo are shown around the theme of theater, complemented by an insightful presentation of how a Japanese print is made and what makes it so unique.

The exhibition is complemented by demonstrations on July 11, 12 and 19 (1:30 - 3:30 PM) and a 3-day A-Z workshop on July 24, 25 and 26.
