Surprise under the christmas tree: Kōshodō.

Ir you ever watched our documentary you might have seen that we had the incredible opportunity to explore the hidden depths of the Art and History Museum’s vast Mokuhanga collection, thanks to the generosity of curator Nathalie Vandeperre.

Turns out that some prints from that collection now have found their way into a card game: Kōshodō just got released earlier this month by historian Bram De Ridder.

If you’re an ukiyo-e lover with a passion for board games, or someone who enjoys historical-themed games with a cultural twist, this game is a gem. It’s a fusion of strategy and history, all while providing an enjoyable experience. Who wouldn’t want to dive into the world of mokuhanga over a game night? ;-)
